I’m Paul, 61 and retired. I write about what is happening to me and the experiences of other Parkinson’s peeps I meet along the way. Rhyme helps me say the things that can be difficult to say aloud.
Come into my poetry and discover honest stories that can be candid, moving, cheeky and sometimes darkly funny. I’m intrigued to see where Life in Rhyme takes me next.

A deeper collection about Parkinson’s, anxiety and resilience, balanced by lighter poems including “Buffet Car Shuffle”, “Scone” and “Gen X”. Nine of its poems later became songs on Album V3.

Observations, imagination and unapologetic silliness. Proof that Life in Rhyme has never been only about Parkinson’s.
Life in Rhyme is about making people feel less alone — while raising awareness, starting conversations and supporting Parkinson’s charities.
A growing Facebook community for honest conversation, shared experiences, poetry and music.
All profits from Life in Rhyme books and music are donated to Parkinson’s charities, including Parkinson’s UK.
Not a definition of Parkinson’s — simply Paul’s experience of living with it, shared openly.
What began as a way to process life with Parkinson’s has grown into advocacy, community, media appearances and fundraising.
Three of Paul’s poems were selected for the Red Thread Poetry Project at the 2026 World Parkinson Congress in Phoenix.
Raised through pickleball & book sales, bringing people together through sport, laughter and community.
Paul has taken Life in Rhyme onto BBC Radio Devon and Hospital Radio Torbay, using poetry and humour to start honest conversations.
